About 7 kilometers north of the coastal town of Roses and a 10-minute walk from Cala Montjoi is this fabulous villa in the wonderful Cala Calitjas, within the Cap de Creus Natural Park. The house, built in 1972, was renovated respecting the rustic character and the typical style of the place given by the designer, the famous Catalan architect Pelayo Martínez i Pelagi. The main floor offers a spacious and bright living room with vaulted ceilings, which opens onto a spectacular partially covered terrace with a small swimming pool (with jacuzzi), and enjoys a fantastic view of the sea and the surrounding pine forest. The very bright kitchen also enjoys the same view. Next to it is a small room with a shower, currently used as a cloakroom and laundry room. From the entrance, a hallway leads to the sleeping area, which includes four bedrooms, including three ensuite double bedrooms and one single bedroom, as well as another bathroom with a bathtub. On the ground floor of the villa, there are two large rooms, one of which is used as a guest bedroom with a bathroom, the other very large that can be used as a living room with a sea view or a games room. On the same floor, outside, a small additional bathroom with a shower is especially useful coming up from the beach. On the same floor, next to the pool technical room, there is also a very large storage room (25 m2). The house can comfortably accommodate about ten people. The large private green area that surrounds the house (about 5,250 m2) is maintained in its natural state of pine forest. A small highlight for nature lovers is the stone and wood pergola in the pine forest, where you can seclude yourself, cool and quiet. The entrance offers enough space to park several cars. The house is connected to the electricity network and the telephone line (with ADSL), while the running water is drawn from a private well that plunges into a rich underground aquifer. The pool is fed with rainwater, stored in a large tank. The bedrooms in the night area are equipped with electric heating, while the living room is heated by the large wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The same fireplace also serves the barbecue located on the terrace. The condition of the Park as a nature reserve guarantees its care and conservation (with the prohibition of new settlements). The property has direct sea views, with private access to the beach located in the rocky cliff, and is surrounded by a thick pine forest. The isolation of the villa ensures tranquility and absolute privacy.
