At one end of the vineyard, the property has an auxiliary brick building attached to a metal shed, ideal for storing machinery and tools necessary for viticultural work. The Denomination of Origin Rueda, created in 1980, is the oldest in Castilla y León and one of Spain's most emblematic wine-growing areas. The gravelly soils, continental climate and altitude of the area create ideal conditions for growing Verdejo grapes.
